Four 1000 km flights flown on the longest day

On Wed 20th June, a cold front was followed on the longest day, 21st June, by a ridge of high pressure and awesome thermal soaring conditions over most of the UK. On the 21st June, those fortunate to be able to do so flew numerous long flights, including FOUR 1000 km declared tasks by Russell Cheetham (The Gliding Centre), Tim Jenkinson (London GC), Andy Aveling & Gary Coppin (Lasham) and Richard Browne (The Gliding Centre).
