CAA Publication Notification: BRP-ROTAX GmbH & Co KG Rotax 914 and 915 Engines: Engine Exhaust Valve Replacement

The CAA has provided details of a mandatory Airworthiness Directive that affects a number of motor gliders.

The Directive appears to have originated from a failure in the Permit to Fly/un-certified version of the engine. Any club that operates a Rotax powered 914 or 915 LAA/BMAA permit tug is strongly recommended to check the applicability of this Airworthiness Directive to that aircraft.

The CAA notice is available here.
