Managing Flying Risk updated

The BGA publication ‘Managing Flying Risk’ aims to provide all glider pilots and clubs with practical and hard-learned good practice and guidance about managing risk in gliding collated into one online document. The information is periodically updated following consultation with subject matter experts.

A revised version of Managing Flying Risk has been published dated 15 Nov 19, which includes additional detail relating to safe aerotowing, hill, ridge and mountain soaring, supervision, and personal equipment.

All pilots are strongly recommended to at least read the updated information, which is highlighted with blue text.
