Part M Light

As previously reported, Part M Light came into force on the 24th March 2020 as part of changes brought about by EASA’s GA Strategy and the move towards proportionate regulation of GA. The BGA has updated the relevant documents published on the members website to reflect the changes, and has written to BGA inspectors and aircraft owners with information.

Of course owners, their aircraft, and inspectors are separated right now. If and when any opportunity to apply flexibility to maintenance and ARCs emerges from CAA, we will pass on the details as soon as we have them.
