BGA Instructor Courses

A difficult period of lockdown for everyone has resulted in cancelled instructor courses. Working with the continuing COVID19 mitigations at BGA clubs, BGA instructor training is carefully re-emerging.

Basic Instructor courses take place at gliding clubs who choose to run them. The (usually) two-day course delivers safety training and instructional techniques to club-prepared candidates. If any club needs support with delivering BI training, please contact Liz Pike at the BGA office.

Assistant Instructor courses comprise of a ‘teaching and learning’ (T&L) seminar, club preparation as required, and a 7-day course. The T&L seminar is now being delivered online. As these T&L seminar dates become available, details will be posted at https://members.gliding.co.uk/events/   Queries can be directed to Liz Pike at the BGA office.

More detail about all BGA assistant instructor ratings is available here.
