Community Sport and Recreation Awards return for 2022

The search is on for the nation’s best grassroots sport and recreation initiatives as the Community Sport and Recreation Awards return for 2022.
For more than 25 years, the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s annual awards programme has celebrated clubs and organisations across the country for their achievements in areas such as sustainability, mental health and volunteering.
With national recognition and cash prizes up for grabs, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to get recognised for the fantastic work you do in your community. The awards are free and simple to enter, and there is a top tips document to help you get started with your entry.
Each winning project will receive a £1,000 prize presented to them by HRH The Earl of Wessex at an awards ceremony in March.

The eight award categories are:
• Youth Development Award
• Community Club of the Year
• Going Green Award
• Mental Health and Wellbeing Award
• Diversity and Inclusion Award
• Inspiration of the Year
• Resilience in Adversity Award
• Volunteer of the Year

Applicants must either be a member of the Sport and Recreation Alliance, be affiliated or work in partnership with a member to be considered for an award.
For more information and to enter, head over to the Sport and Recreation Alliance website and complete the relevant form by Monday 15 November.
