Airspace Change
Many airports across the UK are progressing, restarting or launching an Airspace Change Proposal (ACP) with Government support, direction and co-ordination as part of the long term modernisation of the UK’s airspace. Other emerging ACPs include changes to en-route airspace as well as temporary and permanent airspace changes that segregate RPAS from aircraft, for example at Keevil and Waddington.
The BGA works with the GA Alliance to engage effectively with airspace related policy development and to respond to ACPs. Clubs are very important ACP stakeholders and are encouraged to get involved as early as possible with any emerging ACP that could directly impact their operation.
