Launchpoint and Women Gliding supporting instructor training
Are you a woman interested in becoming a gliding instructor? To support instructor diversity, Women Gliding with the support of the Launchpoint charity and the BGA are organising an instructor course later in 2023. This course might be made for you!
The application process is uncomplicated. And Launchpoint funding is available. Anyone with the relevant experience even if they are not sure instructing is for them is encouraged to find out more:

– find the info pack at womengliding.co.uk/instructing or email info@womengliding.co.uk and they will send it to you (pack will be available after the info session on 27 April)
– call, message or videocall any of the Women Gliding team or post on Women Gliding Community Facebook group and they will get in touch
The course will run as any other BGA instructor course overseen by BGA Training Standards Manager Stu Naylor. The requirements for BGA instructor ratings are detailed here.
