Part-66L licence information

UK continuing airworthiness regulation requires BGA inspectors to hold a UK Part-66 licence with the correct category to certify a release to service for Part-21 sailplanes, powered sailplanes, TMGs and aeroplanes.

The BGA is in discussion with the CAA regarding the content of the CAA Part-66L examination questions. Meanwhile, prospective inspectors are encouraged to develop the necessary maintenance experience and theoretical knowledge through assisting with maintenance tasks and self-study.
