BGA Club Development Conference Sunday 19th November 2023
Preparations are continuing for the BGA Club Development Conference on Sunday 19th November at the Park Inn hotel, Northampton, and a few key themes are emerging, mainly around clubs being happy places to spend time doing various gliding activities. That translates to looking at how we make clubs more sustainable: longer term strategic plans; fleet management; and member engagement, from first visit as a fully paid up club member to being a part of the furniture.
The day is a mix of presentations, with a part ‘build your own agenda’ (three discussion style workshop sessions), a good lunch and plenty of time for talking to other delegates between sessions. This conference is not just for elected Board or Committee members, we will have sessions of interest to people involved in running and managing club and pilot development projects too, so please pass on this email to anyone in your club who helps to make things happen.
