A great learning experience at Midland GC!
Congratulations Elfed, who flew solo on the 21st June! Elfed is a wheelchair user who has been a member of the Midland GC since around the beginning of this year. He has been undergoing training in the club’s new K21 which has adapted hand controls for pilots who cannot otherwise use the rudder.
Moving onto the next stage of his training towards Bronze, Elfed has been enormously helpful in aiding MGC instructors to understand the needs of potential pilots with similar mobility issues.
And well done to all the other recently solo pilots around the country who are far too many to mention here!
