We’re delighted to announce that Phil Jeffery from the Cambridge Gliding Centre now holds the National Open Class 100km triangle speed record. The record was achieved during a flight in a Ventus 3 in South Africa on 21 December 2018 during which Phil achieved an average speed of 181.72 kph.

We’re delighted to announce that Rose Johnson has successfully claimed the UK National female 15m out and return and free out and return records with a flight of 631.4 kms flown in an ASW27 on 21st December from Bloemfontein in South Africa.
