Go Gliding update!
As previously reported, the BGA has been running a ‘Go Gliding’ programme of events to inspire young people, especially women and other under-represented groups, to consider aviation and STEM related careers. Working with schools, youth groups, colleges, and other STEM-linked organisations, our ‘Go Gliding’ programme uses gliding – the most accessible form of aviation – as the inspirational trigger. The Go Gliding programme is supported by the DfT and CAA’s Reach for the Sky Challenge Fund.
The Go Gliding programme that has been running during 2024 supported by our awesome Go Gliding team working with gliding clubs and industry partners is highly successful. Our aim is to inspire even more people during 2025!
