Call for Pilot input to the Competitions Committee – Rules for 2026
The Competitions Committee considers rule changes for the coming season in October and November each year. If you took part in a rated competition in 2025, the Competitions Committee would very much like to hear your ideas for improvement to the rule book.
Since starting this consultation process in 2023, the Competitions Committee has considered over 80 suggestions. Last year, the topics were covered in a document that was published on the BGA members website alongside the rules. The 2025 BGA competition rules and associated documents are here.
The Competitions Committee would be grateful for inputs on any issues identified within the existing rule book and proposed solutions that can be considered within the timeframe above. Please email compscommittee@gliding.co.uk with the word ‘Rules’ in the subject line.
