Junior Gliding Centre support
BGA Junior Gliding Centre (JGC) accreditation is awarded to clubs in recognition of the club having policies, procedures and support systems in place that encourage participation by young pilots.
Clubs are supported by the BGA in developing and maintaining JGC accreditation. We’re delighted to announce that Lorna Sleigh and Claire Emson have taken on the BGA role of JGC support co-ordinators. Both Claire and Lorna are very experienced gliding club members and are familiar with young pilots needs; both have family who started gliding very young and are now accomplished soaring pilots as well as BGA volunteers.
Once Lorna and Claire have had an opportunity to settle in to their role, clubs will be contacted with more detail.
