Fleet Air Arm 2026 Gliding Scholarships
The FAAOA Aviation Scholarship Trust (AST) awards gliding scholarships to young people between ages 16 and 23 who, on application, demonstrate an interest in pursuing a flying career in the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy or the Royal Air Force. Gliding scholarships are offered for beginners’ courses that are scheduled to take place during the summer months. These courses, for up to a total of 16 selected applicants with no previous gliding or flying experience, are operated by the Midland GC and the Portsmouth Naval GC.
