Gliding with a disability

Gliding is a form of flying that can suit those with disabilities. Several gliding clubs are suitably equipped, including with two-seat gliders modified with a hand rudder control. However, gliding would like to do much more to support participation by those with disabilities.

We would like to talk with any BGA club member who understands the challenges of participating in gliding with a disability, and in particular we are looking for an individual who could take on a volunteer BGA advocate role, which in large part will help gliding to become more accessible to all. If this role interests you, please contact the BGA office.
