Go Gliding!
Go Gliding is a BGA project supported by the DfT’s ‘Reach for the Sky’ programme.
Go Gliding STEM events are free and open to individual students, schools, colleges, and youth groups, providing early career taster opportunities for young people to experience and learn more about gliding.
The experience includes videos, presentations on gliding and aviation opportunities, Q&A sessions, STEM activities, a simulator flight, as well as a quiz with a goody bag and a chance to apply for one of two gliding scholarships (each worth £500).
