On the 3rd July 2025, Al Kay completed a 751.3km out and return from Lasham in a Ventus 3M (18m) at 101.73km/h, and in doing so exceeded the previous UK Open and 20m class 750km out and return speed records.
Also on the 3rd of July, Phil Jones completed a 753.1km triangle from Lasham in a Ventus 3t (18m) at 108.63km/h, and in doing so exceeded the previous UK Open and 20m class 750km triangle speed records
