BGA Diplomas for services to gliding

3rd March 2026

A BGA Diploma may be awarded to any individual for their outstanding service to a BGA club or the interests of UK gliding.

The following individuals were presented with BGA Diplomas at the BGA Conference on the 28th February 2026:

David Coats – Scottish GC, Doug Hilton – Southdown GC, Ken Marston – Borders GC, John Hanlon – Oxford GC, Lez Saker – Mendip GC, Yvonne Elliott – Lasham GS, Ian Daniels – East Sussex GC, Eric Hibbard – Anglia GC, Neil Oakley – Buckminster GC, John Garrett – Oxfordshire Sport Flying, Tony Moulang – Kent GC, Neal Clements – Midland GC, Simon Ducker – Banbury GC, Simon Ginns – Anglia GC, and Ted Richards – Lasham GS.
