As part of the Inspector Initial issue and Refresher seminar, you will also need to book yourself on to a Human Factors course.

Good quality work including compliance with the relevant requirements is a fundamental element of airworthiness. This is underpinned by our attitude and behaviour ‘Human Factors’. The aim of this course is to understand the ‘fit’ between you, the inspector, your equipment and the surrounding environment, which can include learning styles, behaviours and values, leadership, teamwork, the design of equipment and processes, communication and organisational culture.
