Podcasting opportunity!
The BGA/ S&G has an opportunity to join the podcasting world with our very own podcast. We are looking for a small volunteer team to help put it all together. As with most things gliding, the positions are unpaid and volunteer, but do come with a lot of job satisfaction. The team will be working in partnership with the editorial side of S&G.
The roles that we’d like to initially fill are:
* Chase producers x 2 – think the people behind the scenes at BBC Radio 4 who line up the guests, write the questions and prep the host.
* Host x 1 – we’re looking for someone that is a good listener, an experienced glider pilot and someone preferably with a bit of a media/podcasting background, but not essential.
The team doesn’t need to be in the same location. Modern technology is a wonderful thing. We anticipate a monthly podcast and we already have a plug and play format in mind that’s proven to work.
The show will also have the help of an experienced podcast producer/mentor to initially help get the show off the ground.
This will be a lot of fun for the right people and it’s a great way to give back to gliding.
