Club Welcomes New Boss
RAF Shawbury Gliding Club (RSGC) are delighted to welcome Ben Bradick as our new Oic. Ben, a serving officer at RAF Cosford, started his gliding career with the Air Cadets – predominantly with 63 (Bridgnorth) Sqn; AEF aplenty on Chipmunks, Cessnas, C130\’s, and many weekends at Cosford flying the Grob Vigilant. Ben undertook and passed Basic Glider Training (BGT) at Cosford before being commissioned into the RAF in 1998 where he was lucky enough to gain a place on a Service gliding course held at RAF Bicester where he went solo. Other than a few AEF opportunities in the intervening years, Ben has not flown in control of an aircraft for quite some time and is very much looking forward to defying gravity once again and getting back into the air with RSGC
