SOLO THANKS TO THE RAF CHARITABLE TRUST
Congratulations to Ben Cummings on going solo. Ben is the first Wrekin member to achieve solo having been funded with the help of the RAF Charitable Trust bursary scheme. The bursary funds 7 winch launches, 2 aero-tows and an hour’s flying in the club motor glider with the aim of providing service personnel with a foot on the gliding ladder when they join their unit.
