gliding as a pathway to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)
careers. This immersive event will feature:
• Presentations from industry experts
• Guest speakers sharing their career journeys
• A Q&A session with pilots and engineers
• STEM-based activities related to aviation and gliding
• A simulator flight experience to get a taste of gliding
• A fun quiz with a goody bag for all participants
Additionally, attendees will have the chance to be awarded a subsidised trial flight funded by
The Honourable Company of Air Pilots and can apply for a Gliding Scholarship to help
develop their skills and progress to solo pilot status.
