Electronic Conspicuity Mandate Consultation
As previously reported, the CAA Electronic Conspicuity (EC) Mandate Consultation closes on the 22nd September.
There are several significant concerns within the CAA’s EC mandate proposals, including technical, operational and financial issues.
The BGA airspace committee is working with its subject matter experts to develop response guidance for clubs and their members in addition to developing a response on behalf of the BGA as a whole. The response guidance should be available in early September, at which point glider pilots will be urged to respond to the CAA’s consultation.
