Planning reforms propose reduced consultation
The Government is proposing to remove Sport England from a list of statutory consultees regarding planning decisions in England. If successful, the proposal will reduce the amount of effective consultation required for a planning application and in doing so further diminish the protection of recreational sporting facilities including airfields.
