New World Record for a 1000km triangle!

The FAI IGC has now formally ratified Steve Koerner’s 10 July 2024 flight out of Ely, Nevada as a new world record for a 15m glider speed over a 1000 km triangle.

The new record speed is 151.28 kph (94.0 mph) over an actual course distance of 1025 km and was flown in a JS-3.
