Service Personnel Fly With WGC
On a hot and sunny 21 May WGC hosted two groups of service personnel. it was great to see seven RAF technicians undergoing their Phase 2 training at RAF Cosford join us for an afternoon’s flying. For all but one it was their first experience of flying and in conditions with patchy thermals, all managed to achieve flights of around 20 minutes. In the early evening we were joined by a group of young officers from RAF Shawbury who were undergoing their ATC training, the second RAF Shawbury group visit that WGC have hosted.
