Inappropriate or discriminatory conduct
The BGA naturally encourages any individual who witnesses or experiences bullying, racist, homophobic, sexist or other inappropriate comment, banter or action, to immediately call that out as inappropriate or discriminatory conduct. It is recognised that not everyone will be confident enough to do so.
Any person who feels they are being subjected to inappropriate or discriminatory conduct at their gliding club should in the first instance contact their club chairman or another member of the committee to resolve the issue. If that is not possible, the issue can be referred to the BGA CEO. In due course you will be advised of our findings.
Where any person feels they are being subjected to inappropriate or discriminatory conduct when taking part in or supporting BGA facilitated activity, they should in the first instance seek to address the issue with the person leading the activity. If that is not possible or satisfactory for any reason, the issue can be referred to the BGA CEO or BGA Chair. In due course you will be advised of our findings.
