RSGC Hosts Taurus Squadron Cadets
From February to April RSGC is delighted to welcome groups of Officer Cadets from Taurus Squadron, the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme (DTUS) support unit for Aston and Birmingham Universities. DTUS is a sponsorship scheme for students who will be joining the Royal Navy, British Army or Royal Air Force as Engineering Officers (or Logistics Officers for the Army). Gliding is just one Adventurous Training opportunity for the cadets whilst at university; other activities include sub-aqua diving, offshore sailing, mountaineering, caving, skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, hand gliding, paragliding and parachuting.
